ARTIST BIO
For Alex Parenteau aka APAR, the dance floor is where the power of music as the ultimate unifier is the most profound.
Known as a diverse programmer with an uncanny ability to anticipate exactly what a crowd is craving, APAR has won over crowds at his 2018 debut set at Electric Daisy Carnival in Las Vegas and opening for recognized artists like Sak Noel and B.O.B.
APAR’s genre-hopping skills stem from his teenage years spinning for friends at house parties, where his love for hybridizing genres led to playing with samples and creating edits with an unmistakable sound that is distinctly APAR. Today, APAR glides effortlessly between styles, playing for diverse crowds across the globe at international venues like Trinco in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, and for celebrities and leading corporate brands, with gigs playing at the UFC 229 Party hosted by Mario Lopez, the Tequila Mi Campo Industry Launch Event in Denver, and professional boxer Deontay Wilder’s Birthday Party. As the accolades pile up, APAR continues on his quest to connect people on the dancefloor in euphoric expressions of sound and movement.
