Shannon C has always had a passion for music, spending her youth playing a variety of instruments in her local and school orchestras. In 2013, after establishing a successful corporate training career, Shannon was hit from behind by a semi-truck while at a stoplight. Suddenly unemployed and sustaining several injuries, Shannon returned to Music as a means of healing herself and spent her months in recovery learning a new instrument; the turntables. Unable to secure corporate work due to her extensive injuries, Shannon began booking work as a DJ and allowed the accident to launch her into Entrepreneurship and a career in entertainment.
Over the course of her DJ Career, Shannon C has played a variety of events including Weddings, Parties, Nightlife, Fashion Shows, Sporting Events, and Corporate Events. Over the course of her 6-year career, she’s played for a wide range of brands from Twitter, Salesforce, and Hitachi to Nordstrom, Neiman Marcus, and Saks Fifth Avenue. As a member of the LGBT community herself, Shannon especially finds joy in playing for LGBT events, believing that all people deserve joy without judgment. She also finds joy in returning to the corporate sector as a vendor to help corporations to increase engagement and attendance as well as drive sales through music at their events. Shannon brings her own strongly grounded business ethics and understanding of business goals and needs as well as an incredible talent for reading and influencing energy in the room to each of her events.
